The quiet, steady work that keeps everything simple.
Cleanings, checkups, x-rays, gum care. Most of dentistry is preventing the dramatic stuff — and that's most of what we do, every day, all year.
Treatments under General & Preventive.
The toolkit that keeps small things small.
Routine cleanings
Gentle scaling and polish, every six months. The kind of cleaning where you almost fall asleep.
Comprehensive exams
Full check of every tooth, bite, soft tissues, and jaw. Yearly, with photos so we can compare next time.
Digital x-rays
Low-radiation imaging, on screen within seconds. We only take what we need.
Gum (periodontal) care
Healthy gums hold healthy teeth. We catch issues early — before deep cleanings are needed.
Oral cancer screening
Two-minute check at every exam. Painless, fast, and quietly important.
Sealants & fluoride for kids
Thin protective coatings on growing molars. The single most underused trick in dentistry.
What a routine visit actually looks like.
First the small talk — we genuinely want to know how you've been since your last visit. Then the cleaning, which is unhurried. Polish, floss, sometimes fluoride. About 45 minutes for adults, slightly less for kids.
After the cleaning, the dentist comes in for a full exam. We'll show you anything we see — on the x-rays or the intraoral camera — and explain it in plain language. If everything's quiet, you're out the door. If we spot something, we'll talk through what's worth doing now versus watching.
Welcome
Quick chat, any new health changes, what's been going on.
Cleaning
Hygienist does the scaling and polish, unhurried.
Exam
Dentist checks every tooth, bite, soft tissues. We show you what we see.
Plan
If anything needs attention, we walk through options. No pressure.
Routine care is where we get to know your family. Kids meet the same friendly faces every visit, year after year.

Common questions, plain answers.
For most adults, every six months. Some people need three- or four-month intervals because of gum sensitivity or orthodontics. Kids are usually six-month too. We'll tell you honestly which group you're in.
No. About a third of new patients say exactly that. We just take a careful look, give you the lay of the land, and prioritise from there. Most people leave the first visit relieved.
Modern digital x-rays use about 90% less radiation than the film ones from 20 years ago. A full set delivers less radiation than a transatlantic flight. We only take them when they tell us something we can't see directly.
It varies with insurance and what's needed (a basic polish vs. a deeper scaling). Call us with your details and we'll give you a real number before you book — no surprises at the desk.
We accept most major plans. We're happy to check your coverage before your first visit so you know what's covered up front.
